HIIT workout that aims to yield the most benefits in a short amount of time.
A class usually lasts for 30 mins, including a warm-up and cool- down. The workout format is 6 rounds of 2 exercises (pairs) each round lasting 4 mins consisting of 20 seconds of full on effort exercise and then a 10 second rest.
The intent of this routine is to pack as many repetitions as possible into 8 sets of 20-second work periods in 1 round, then repeat for 4 more rounds.
We tend to use body weight for the 1st exercise and dumbbells for the 2nd exercise of the pair.
This workout burns calories and build lean muscle.
